The world is a show.
Dimensions unknown,
Peep through a window.
Cold little paw,
Pressed against my lips.
Fleshy beans test,
The beating of my heart.
Giant ears swivel,
Pick up every sound.
Attentive and responsive,
Sensitivity abounds.
Face full of fur,
Sweet smells of comfort.
My precious little baby,
I whisper loving secrets.
Royalty from heaven,
Worshipped on earth.
Kiss the paw,
Pay your respects.
Knowing and mysterious,
Possessed by magical sensitivity.
Fiercely self-protective,
Honored by care.
Meet her every need,
Love her sincerely.
Service and purpose,
All for my cat queen.
Set a trap,
Lie in wait.
Capture love,
Contain beauty.
Forest creature,
Delicate limbs.
Step wisely,
Skeptical bait.
Snapped ankles,
Death sentence.
Sensitive soul,
Languish quickly.
Eyes cast downward,
Cool observation from above.
Narcissistic delusions,

Extend out compassion,
Flailing helpless creatures.
Drowning in sorrow,
Oceanic floods.
Emotional intolerance,
Dysfunctional regulation.
Pictures glued to sockets,
Ripped sticker residue remains.
Occupy the mind,
Present in the body.
Astral planes explored,
Cultivating stillness.
A tiny bud, unraveling leaves,
A sprout bursts from the earth.
You stretch your petals, seeking light,
The nourishment of warmth.
But time drags on, your head droops heavy,
Your flower, all closed up.
