Weep (poem)

Poetry

Tears are like rain.

They can fall heavily,

But soaked by life,

They nourish from within.

They become the lubricant,

Absorbing flows of nutrients.

Minerals and memories combine.

Cry and drink and grow in sleep.

Drops at a time,

Clouds contain floods.

Grief never-ending,

Weather patterns persist.

Sad feelings overtaken,

Gusts of wind shake foundations.

So weep, little one,

For the world weeps with you.
