Shifting pieces,

Feeling distress,

Seeking victims,
Blinded by self-interest.
Calculating needs,
Overestimate your own.
Lacking perspective,
Justifying lies.
Placate and please,
But lacking sincerity.
Apathetic at heart,
Dead to the world.
Planetary orbit,
Celestial bodies.
Coldness of space,
