comfort

Purr (poem)

Poetry

Rumble in my chest,
Sharp intake of breath.
Vibrations move outward,
Escape furry vessel.

Enter anew,
Roadblocks and obstacles.
Shake their integrity,
Stones melt into water.

Wash away pain,
Send it down the drain.
Sweet music plays,
Notes sing lullabies.

Intimate comfort,
Healing song.
From body to body,
Sharing a soul.
